Handbuilding Clay Class - 4h

Service Description

A lovely four-hour handbuilding clay class for up to 6 people. Make your own unique ceramic pieces and learn the basics of hand building. This course will focus on shaping organic functional ceramic goods. I will introduce you to the basics of the pinch, coil & slab technique. After that you are free to create your own pieces. You could make a nice breakfast bowl or a big mug for your loved ones, its up to you! Tea & Snacks is this course included. This course is suitable for beginners! You will be able to make 2-4 pieces you can take home with. Depends on the size you make. The course is divided in 2 Sessions. In the 1. Session you will have 2h of getting into the clay & create your favorite pieces. In the 2. Session you can use your knowledge & be as creative as you want. The perfect amount of time to create a nice set for your home or create some presents for your loved ones. I will fire them once they*re dried and then glaze them with one of our 6 unique CHIAMI glazes. You can then pick them up in around 4-6 weeks. Keep in mind that due to the limited space in the studio I can store you're finished pieces up to 8 weeks. * White Clay, Glaze & Firing is in the course price incl. Cancellation policies - Classes are non-refundable but you can rebook to a future class, provided you give at least 7 days notice, via Email. This means that you will receive a voucher that you can use to book a future class. - You are allowed to transfer the class to someone else if you can't make it. (due to illness,etc.), but that still means the above policy would apply. - Our studio is for teenagers & adults. We allow for children from the age of 14 if accompanied by an adult (if you are between14-17 years old). Both would need to book a spot separately. - In case the event cannot take place, we will reschedule it and you will be issued a voucher to use again.
