Service Description

A lovely 4 hour wheel-throwing class for up to 2 people. Make your own unique ceramic pieces and learn the basics of throwing clay on the wheel. This 4 hour course is divided in 2 Sessions. In the first session i will guide you through the process of centering clay, pulling walls & playing with different shapes. The second Session you are able to practice & create whatever you desire. It could be a Mug, Bowl or even a vase. Tea is in this course included. This course is suitable for beginners & if you want to improve your wheel game. You will be able to make 2-4 pieces, you can take home with. I will trim & fire them once they*re dried and then glaze them with one of our 6 unique CHIAMI glazes. You can then pick them up in around 4 weeks. Keep in mind that due to the limited space in the studio I can store you're finished pieces up to 8 weeks. * White Clay, Glaze & Firing is in the course price incl. Cancellation policies - Classes are non-refundable but you can rebook to a future class, provided you give at least 7 days notice, via Email. This means that you will receive a voucher that you can use to book a future class. - You are allowed to transfer the class to someone else if you can't make it. (due to illness,etc.), but that still means the above policy would apply. - Our studio is for teenagers & adults. We allow for children from the age of 14 if accompanied by an adult (if you are between14-17 years old). Both would need to book a spot separately. - In case the event cannot take place, we will reschedule it and you will be issued a voucher to use again.
